Animal Clinic of Monett in southwest Missouri is seeking a mixed animal veterinarian to join our true rural practice with modern technology and a strong support team.

As part of Heritage Vet Partners, ACM offers a competitive full-time salary range ($90,000–$120,000), commission potential, professional dues, liability coverage, CE allowance, PTO 15 days, comprehensive benefits, 401K match, and potential ownership through our Associate Equity Program.

About Us

The Animal Clinic of Monett has been in the community since 1989, founded by Drs. Ted and Carol Dahlstrom. Dr. Ted\'s expertise and deep ties to Southwest Missouri\'s cattle community, along with his devotion to clients, have been the driving legacy of ACM.

Dr. John Harper (Missouri \'88)

joined ACM in 1994 and is easily recognized by his signature cowboy hat and boots. A versatile mixed animal practitioner, he is especially skilled in small animal orthopedic surgery and loves caring for horses and cattle.

Dr. John Tyra (Mississippi State \'10)

joined ACM after graduating. Raised on a farm in Guntown, Mississippi, he specializes in beef and dairy production medicine and bovine reproduction — and is now stepping into the practice leadership role Dr. Ted built, continuing ACM\'s commitment to a highly collaborative team.

Dr. Rachael Kluppel (Mississippi State \'26)

joined ACM this year as a new graduate, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to the team as she begins her veterinary career. One to two additional new-grad associates are expected to join the practice in spring 2026, continuing ACM\'s investment in growing the next generation of talent.

Our Offer

• Full-Time Salary Range ($90,000 – $120,000), plus commission potential based on caseload
• Soft tissue surgical caseload supports upper end of range for qualified candidates
• Professional Dues: 3 per year
• Professional liability provided
• CE Allowance: $3000 biennial
• PTO: 15 days/year
