Pony Express Veterinary Hospital in Xenia, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our small animal team. We welcome both Experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering mentorship and a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued.

You will provide compassionate medical, surgical, and preventive care for a diverse dog and cat caseload, build strong client relationships, and work with a supportive team to develop treatment plans and maintain records.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; mentorship available.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for a diverse small animal caseload (dogs and cats).
• Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and trust.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Develop treatment plans, interpret diagnostics, perform routine surgeries, and practice evidence-based medicine.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of care.
