Conneaut Lake Veterinary Hospital in Meadville, PA, invites an Associate Veterinarian to join our mixed-animal team. You will work with licensed technicians and skilled staff in a well-equipped hospital offering wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and limited daytime emergency services.

We emphasize mentorship and professional growth, with opportunities to see large animals and a collaborative, supportive culture focused on high-quality care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
• Active state veterinary licensure.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier patients or equipment.

Responsabilités

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling on pet end-of-life care and options.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics.
• Collaborate with team to support client and patient care.
