Animal Medical & Surgical Hospital in Tulsa, OK is looking for an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our two-location, small animal practice. You’ll work with an experienced team to provide exceptional care while building your clinical interests and skills.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD graduate from AVMA-accredited school.
• Licensed to practice in Oklahoma or eligible for Oklahoma licensure.
• NAVLE certified.
• Compassionate and passionate about patient care.
• Strong communicator who enjoys connecting with clients.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.
• Interested in developing skills in surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, or other areas of interest.
• Committed to lifelong learning.
• Positive, dependable, and eager to contribute to a great hospital culture.
• Experience is preferred, but not required. New graduates and early-career veterinarians are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnosing and managing a variety of medical conditions.
• Providing preventive and wellness care.
• Performing soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
• Developing anesthesia and pain-management plans.
• Utilizing digital radiography and ultrasonography to support patient diagnosis.
• Educating clients on preventive care and long-term health.
• Building lasting relationships with pets and their families.
• Collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate medical records.
• Continuing to grow knowledge and clinical skills through CE and mentorship.
