Job summary

Blue River PetCare in Jackson, CA, is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for pets in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

You’ll manage wellness, medical, and surgical cases, interpret diagnostics, and engage with complex cases while collaborating with experienced RVTs and staff. A California license or eligibility is required.

We're seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our growing and supportive team.

Well-established small animal practice serving Jackson, CA since 1990 In-house digital radiography, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and full lab capabilities Trusted by local rescues and known for lasting client relationships Close proximity to referral centers while managing advanced cases in-house

What You’ll Do

• Deliver personalized care across wellness, medical, and surgical services
• Interpret diagnostics and develop custom treatment plans
• Engage with complex cases not always referred out, depending on client needs
• Work closely with experienced RVTs and support staff

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed (or eligible) DVM in California
• Proficient in general small animal medicine and surgery
• Team-oriented, communicative, and driven to provide high-quality care
• Interested in a balance of advanced cases and quality of life in wine country
