Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced team. In this role, you\'ll deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and client-focused care consistent with AAHA standards. If you have an interest in exotics, we would be looking to expand our services with exotics!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical exams (wellness, sick visits, diagnostics, surgical consultations)
  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures
  • Develop and oversee treatment plans using lab work, imaging, and external consultations
  • Monitor patients’ progress and provide pain management, behavior, or end-of-life care as needed
  • Educate and counsel clients on topics like behavior, nutrition, parasite prevention, and follow-up care
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current on veterinary medicine best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa
