Heights Veterinary Clinic Northwest in Houston, TX is seeking a full- or part-time veterinarian to join our multi-disciplinary small and exotic animal practice located just north of the historic Houston Heights area.

Our facility accommodates four full-time veterinarians and is equipped with modern diagnostics including digital radiology, ultrasound, Idexx laboratory equipment, digital dental radiography, electrocautery, and cold laser therapy.

Qualifications

• Exotic experience a plus
• Fear Free certification preferred
• Licensed DVM in Texas
• USDA accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive care, internal medicine, and surgical services.
• Mentor and collaborate with a skilled LVT and technician team.
• Participate in fear-free patient handling and human-animal bond advocacy.

Heights Veterinary Clinic Northwest in Houston, Texas is seeking a full or part-time veterinarian to join our small and exotic animal practice located just north of the historic Houston Heights area. Our facility accommodates four full-time veterinarians and is equipped with modern diagnostics including: digital radiology, ultrasound, 2 full sets of Idexx laboratory equipment, digital dental radiography, electrocautery, and cold laser therapy. With our original location deeply rooted in The Houston Heights, HVC-NW continues to provide compassionate and elevated patient care to our loyal clients that was started over 50 years ago. We offer a multi-dimensional case load that will exercise your knowledge and skills in preventative care, internal medicine, surgery and beyond. We have been serving exotic pet owners since 2020 including avian, reptiles, small mammals and are always looking to learn and grow in this field. Our veterinarians are fear free certified and advocate for the human-animal bond, which allows us to elevate our care to the next level. Heights Veterinary Clinic Northwest is the perfect practice if you are looking to walk into an already established clientele along with an average of 60 new clients a month.

We have a highly skilled LVT and technician team that support our veterinarians in all facets of patient care and general operations of the clinic. As a veterinarian at Heights Veterinary Clinic Northwest, you will have a voice and be considered part of the leadership team that together strategizes practice goals and improving daily operations. If mentorship is what you desire as a new graduate, we can develop a tailored program to support you in your first year.
