Job summary
Carrier Animal Hospital in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. You will provide high-quality medical care, perform surgeries, and build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Qualifications
- Licensed DVM or VMD with active State license.
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
- 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
- Communicate with clients and educate on care.
- Perform surgery and diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.
- Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
- Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities.
- Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
- Attend daily rounds when possible.
- Participate in practice management updates and training.
