Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent required.
• Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong background in preventive care and companion animal health.

• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Collaborative approach within a veterinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive wellness exams, preventive care, vaccines, and routine health screenings.
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions with evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans prioritizing patient health and comfort.
• Build lasting client relationships through compassionate communication and education.
• Perform soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures; pursue mentorship and training as needed.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Educate pet owners on preventive health, nutrition, and long-term wellness.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture.
