Supreme Search Specialists in Willis, Texas is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our established small animal practice. The role offers a base salary of $110,000–$150,000 per year, plus monthly production bonuses, with no negative accrual and comprehensive benefits.

The successful candidate will provide preventive medicine, diagnostics, general surgery, medical case management, and urgent care, while enjoying clinical autonomy and strong mentorship within a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited veterinary institution.
• Active Texas veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical knowledge of small animal medicine and preventive healthcare.
• Experience or interest in general practice, surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to veterinary medicine.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative veterinary team.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• A positive, motivated, and professional approach to veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to companion animals, primarily dogs and cats.
• Perform comprehensive wellness examinations, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare consultations.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions.
• Manage general practice and urgent care cases requiring prompt veterinary attention.
• Perform routine surgical procedures and additional procedures within clinical competency.
• Conduct dental examinations and recommend appropriate dental treatment.
• Interpret laboratory findings, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical investigations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
• Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare, treatment options, and ongoing patient management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and fellow veterinarians to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold professional veterinary standards.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative veterinary environment.
• Support the continued development of high-quality veterinary services.
