Job summary
Rowland Veterinary Services in New Tazewell, Tennessee, seeks an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our established mixed animal practice. This four-day work week features no weekends, no on-call or after-hours emergencies, and a collaborative, mentorship-friendly environment.
We offer competitive base pay up to $135,000 plus production bonus, relocation or sign-on options, comprehensive benefits, and generous PTO.
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Tennessee.
- Interest in client education and preventive medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, client-focused medical and surgical care.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals.
- Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Participate in case discussions and ongoing professional development.
- Build trusted client relationships through education and communication.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards of care.
- Support wellness, preventive care, and long-term patient health.
