Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) from an accredited program.
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• At least 1 year of veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical and dental capabilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage medications.
• Prescribe medications following regulations and protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and operations.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
