Bay Animal Hospital in Panama City, Florida is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team that values great medicine and clinical autonomy with support from experienced doctors.

You’ll care for companion animals, perform exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and develop treatment plans while building strong client relationships and delivering compassionate care in a modern, team-friendly practice near the Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate medical care for companion animals
• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, routine surgeries, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other diagnostic findings to guide patient care
• Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education
• Partner with fellow veterinarians and the support team to provide collaborative, efficient patient care
• Guide clients through all stages of their pet's life, from preventive care through end-of-life decisions
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Practice in accordance with veterinary medical standards, ethics, and applicable regulations
