Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent surgical and dental skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
• Clear communication with medical staff and clients

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical workups
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans
• Perform surgical procedures and manage dental care
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Handle pharmacy duties and controlled substances protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and expectations
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
• Participate in practice management updates and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
