Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent is required and licensure in state of practice.
• Ability to show compassion to pets and owners, and work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems.
• Treat and dress wounds.
• Perform surgery when needed.
• Test for and vaccinate against diseases.
• Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines.
• Advise owners on care and treatments.
• Prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with team to provide high quality care.
