Job summary

Warr Acres Animal Clinic in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join a busy, well-established practice with a loyal client base.

You'll work with a collaborative DVM team offering hands-on mentorship, flexible scheduling, 30-minute appointments, surgery days, and opportunities to develop your clinical interests across wellness, dentistry, diagnostics, and exotics.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Active Oklahoma veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to excellent patient care and client service

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and preventive care to a diverse patient population
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans based on each patient's needs and the client's circumstances
• Manage wellness, sick, urgent, and complex medical cases
• Perform surgical and dental procedures based on your experience, comfort level, and interests
• Communicate clearly with clients and help them make informed decisions about their pets
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and a highly cross-trained support team
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Contribute to the supportive, everyone-pitches-in culture that makes our practice successful
