Desort is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative clinical team in Tucson, AZ. The doctor will provide high-quality care for companion animals, build lasting client relationships, and pursue comprehensive medicine in a supportive environment that values teamwork and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have a DVM/VMD, active or eligible license in Arizona, and strong clinical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations for companion animals.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions while developing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care within the scope of practice.
• Educate clients on treatment options, preventive healthcare, and wellness recommendations.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold high standards of medical care, patient safety, and client service.
