Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures.
• Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to concerns.
• Communicates with clients on diagnosis, treatment plans, prevention, and nutrition.
• Maintains medical/surgical records and logs per established protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
• Assists in developing the support team to ensure quality care and client service.
• Upholds a professional image of the hospital in the community.
