Oates Veterinary Clinic in Kenton, Ohio is actively seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive team. Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift patients and/or equipment up to 25 pounds; assistance for heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications.
• Provide end-of-life care counseling.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and applicable laws.
