Meyer Veterinary Clinic in Cadillac, Michigan is seeking an Associate Veterinarian – Cadillac, MI with new grads welcome. Compensation includes a base salary of $115K–$140K plus production, plus up to $75K in sign-on and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; with assistance over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Comply with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
