PetVet Care Centers’ Torrance Companion Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team focused on high‑quality medicine for cats and dogs.

Three schedule options (3/4/3), with a full-time, 40-hour workweek and a pay range of $200,000–$225,000 USD, plus production and relocation packages. Join a national network with local autonomy and strong support resources.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
• Excellent communication with staff and pet owners.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle pharmacy duties and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible to ensure high standards.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
