Job summary

Homestead Animal Hospital in Centennial, CO is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our 5.5 DVM team. We treat cats, dogs, birds, and exotics with a focus on wellness, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, in a supportive, client-centered practice.

The ideal candidate brings interest in avian and exotic medicine, a compassionate, team-oriented attitude, and Colorado licensure or eligibility. We offer guaranteed base salary with production bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed DVM in Colorado or able to obtain licensure.
• Interest or experience in avian and exotic medicine preferred.
• Compassionate, team-oriented attitude with client-patient bonding focus.

Responsibilities

• Thirty-minute exams for patients.
• Mix of wellness and sick exams, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry.

Homestead Animal Hospital is an avian, exotic, and small animal practice located in Centennial, CO – part of the greater metro Denver area.

We are an established practice with clients from our local neighborhood and beyond, including nearby states. Our clinic partners with the community & several rescues. We also collaborate with several local colleges for teaching/externship opportunities for technicians & doctors.

About us:

• 5.5 DVM team
• Our clientele consists of roughly 80-95% cats & dogs and 10-15% avian & exotics (would like to grow exotics)
• Focused on wellness, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry for all patients furry, feathered or those that scaly skinned

What you'll do:

• 30-minute exams
• Mix of Wellness/Sick Exams, Diagnostics, Surgery and Dentistry
• Enjoy coming to work everyday!

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong knowledge of avian & exotic medicine preferred but not required
• A dedication to the profession with a compassionate and team-oriented attitude
• The ability to create long-lasting bonds with our clients and beloved patients
• Must be a licensed DVM in the State of Colorado or have the ability to become licensed
