San Francisco SPCA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our Mission Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Provide high-quality preventive, diagnostic, medical and surgical care in a nonprofit setting focused on compassionate, accessible medicine.

Work with a collaborative team to develop treatment plans that balance patient welfare with real-world constraints, and help offer financial assistance to clients in need.

Qualifications

• DVM from AVMA-accredited program.
• California license or ability to obtain.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• General practice/urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, diagnostic, medical and surgical care.
• Partner with clients to develop realistic treatment plans balancing welfare and best practices.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team in a nonprofit environment.
• Help ensure access to compassionate care for pets and families.
