Wolfe Animal Hospital in Jesup, GA seeks a compassionate Veterinarian to join a skilled team. You will provide high-quality veterinary care, collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff, and work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
• Excellent communication with medical staff and pet owners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate them.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle pharmacy duties and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor and optimize hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend rounds and participate in practice management updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
