Bay Animal Hospital in Panama City, Florida is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team with autonomy to make clinical decisions, supported by experienced doctors and staff.

You’ll handle exams, diagnostics, surgery, and preventive care for companion animals, building strong client relationships while growing professionally in a modern facility near Gulf Coast beaches.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from AVMA-accredited program.
• Florida veterinary license active or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate medical care for companion animals
• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, routine surgeries, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other diagnostic findings to guide patient care
• Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education
• Partner with fellow veterinarians and the support team to provide collaborative, efficient patient care
• Guide clients through all stages of their pet's life, from preventive care through end-of-life decisions
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Practice in accordance with veterinary medical standards, ethics, and applicable regulations
