Eastgate Animal Hospital, part of PetVet Care Centers, seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team in Cincinnati, OH. Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
- Current State Veterinary License.
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
- 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills and excellent surgical/dental abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
- Communicate with clients and provide education.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Handle pharmacy duties and controlled substance protocols.
- Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
- Coordinate weekly priorities with Hospital Manager.
- Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
- Attend daily rounds to uphold high standards.
- Participate in practice management updates and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
