Job summary

Godspeed Animal Care in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality veterinary care and client communication. You will work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, reporting to Hospital Manager and Regional Director.

This role offers a base salary of $130,000–$170,000 USD, a 4-day work week, and signing/retention bonus up to $50,000, AAHA accreditation, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative culture focused on staff wellbeing and patient

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate effectively with clients and educate them on care.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and expectations.
• Support daily hospital operations and uphold high standards.
