PetVet Care Centers in Springfield, OH is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. You will provide high-quality veterinary care, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate with seasoned veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.

You will work with hospital leadership to deliver exceptional care, mentor new graduates or interns, and contribute to a diverse caseload spanning wellness, dentistry, surgery, and emergency care.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited college and active State Veterinary License are required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
