Job summary

Tempus Recruitment seeks an Associate Veterinarian for a well-established small animal hospital in North Carolina. The role features a rotating schedule averaging 3.5 working days per week, with long weekends and minimal weekend duties, promoting excellent work–life balance.

You will handle a varied caseload including medical workups, surgeries, dentistry, and use ultrasound, in-house labs, and digital radiography to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in veterinary practice.
• Strong client communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work up medical cases and perform surgical procedures.
• Carry out dentistry and utilise diagnostic tools to support patient care.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education.
• Manage a steady appointment load of 15–25 cases per day in a fast-paced environment.
