Job description

Location Boston, United States Sector Other

Associate Veterinarian | Leading Privattely-Owned Hospital | Boston, MA

Atlas is proud to be partnered with one of the longest-established, family-owned veterinary hospital groups in the United States, with multiple small animal hospitals across the Greater Boston area and Rhode Island. Founded nearly a century ago, this group has built an outstanding reputation for progressive, high-quality, evidence-based medicine delivered in a warm, community-focused setting.

They are actively seeking passionate Veterinarians to join their growing team, with positions available across several locations – including Greater Boston, MA and Rhode Island. What makes this opportunity truly unique is the flexibility on offer. Whether you're a new graduate eager for structured mentorship or an experienced DVM looking for clinical autonomy, they will shape the role around your strengths, experience, and lifestyle. Choose your preferred primary site, enjoy commute-sensitive scheduling, and tailor your clinical focus – from appointments and wellness care through to surgery-heavy days.

With experienced support staff, dedicated technicians, and senior clinicians boasting decades of experience across the group, you'll be empowered to focus on what you do best: examining, diagnosing, and building meaningful relationships with clients and patients alike. This is a genuinely supportive, collaborative environment where teamwork and respect are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Highlights

  • Multiple hospital locations across Greater Boston and Rhode Island – choose your preferred site!

  • Nearly 100 years of history as a family-owned, privately held veterinary group

  • Commute-sensitive scheduling with start and finish times adjusted to suit your lifestyle

  • Structured mentorship programme for new graduates with realistic expectations and dedicated support

  • Experienced support staff and technicians at every location, allowing you to focus on doctor-level work

  • Collaborative, multi-doctor environment with senior clinicians offering decades of combined experience

  • General practice caseload including wellness, preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent sick visits
