Associate Veterinarian role in Las Vegas, NV, with a mission-driven nonprofit. Varied caseload, real community impact.
Great medicine shouldn't come with a price tag that keeps pets out of the exam room. This organization agrees.
We are working on behalf of an established, mission-driven nonprofit veterinary organization that runs two full-service hospitals in the Las Vegas, NV area. The practice sees thousands of pets every year and has built its reputation on delivering high-quality medicine at prices the local community can actually afford.
They are now looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys a busy day and believes in access to care. The caseload is broad: surgery, dentals, spay and neuter, and general medicine, with the odd walk-in or urgent case to keep you on your toes. A strong support team handles the admin and the money conversations, so your time goes on patients, not paperwork.
You will never be pushed into a procedure you are not comfortable with, but you will be encouraged to build new skills with experienced colleagues on hand. The role can be shaped around what you enjoy most, whether that is a heavier surgical schedule, more consult time, or a mix of both. Production is tracked to keep the organization sustainable, but the approach is collaborative, not punitive.
This Associate Veterinarian role also holds an incredible work-life balance with 3 or 4 days per week available. No weekends is negotiable if desired, and typical DVMs would work between 8.00 am - 3.00/4.00 pm.
If you want your work to make a visible difference, this is well worth a conversation.
