Job summary

VCA Saukville Animal Hospital in Saukville, WI is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We offer world-class medicine with a supportive staff and flexible schedule including four days per week and rotating Saturday half-days.

New graduates and students are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship. A signing bonus is available for a full-time, experienced DVM. Enjoy excellent facilities, diagnostic capabilities, and a strong human-animal bond within Ozaukee County.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Responsibilities

• Perform primary care services including wellness exams, preventative care, and vaccinations.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic and treatment procedures as listed (EKG, radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, advanced surgery).
• Collaborate with a supportive team and participate in mentorship opportunities for new graduates and students

Schedule

• 4 days per week with a rotating half‑day on Saturday
• No on‑call hours or late evenings

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40‑hour work week.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
