Veterinary Medical & Emergency Center in Port St. Lucie, FL seeks a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our 24/7 emergency and general practice team.

We provide wellness care, diagnostics, dental care, and in-house imaging to build lasting client relationships while delivering critical care when pets need us most. We welcome new graduates and experienced vets alike, offering mentorship in a supportive, collaborative environment with a balanced schedule (7am-5:30pm, rotating Saturdays)

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active or eligible Florida veterinary license.
• Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for animals and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
• Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and preventive services.
• Utilize in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, and other advanced tools.

About the Role

Our hospital provides both comprehensive everyday wellness care and 24/7 emergency and critical care support, giving our veterinarians the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients while also making a real difference when pets need us most. We have 9 exam rooms, 6 incredibly trained GP veterinarians + additional ER veterinarians and 3 GP vets on shift per day. We are seeking a general practice veterinarian to work 7am-5:30pm with rotating Saturdays. There are NO on call shifts.
