Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for companion pets and exotics.
• Perform surgeries, ultrasounds, digital radiographs, and therapy laser treatments.
• Utilize Covetrus Pulse cloud-based software for appointments.
• Collaborate with support staff and veterinarians on patient cases.
• Participate in wildlife rehabilitation for small mammals, reptiles, and marsupials.

Skills

Experience in small animal care and preventive care

Proficiency in digital radiography and dental prophylaxis

Ability to perform anesthesia, surgery, and emergency care

Active veterinary license in Missouri (or ability to obtain one quickly)

Some exotic species knowledge

Ability to relocate to Springfield or within driving distance

At Sunshine Animal Hospital we have been serving Springfield, Missouri and the surrounding areas for more than 30 years. We are seeking one or two full‑time or part‑time associates to join our team. Our hospital offers a wide range of services including surgery, ultrasound, digital radiographs, a complete Abaxis laboratory, and therapy laser. We are state‑licensed for wildlife rehabilitation and have a supportive staff to work with multiple veterinarians. Daily Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care for companion pets and exotics
• Perform surgeries, ultrasounds, digital radiographs, and therapy laser treatments
• Utilize Covetrus Pulse cloud‑based software and tablets for appointments
• Collaborate with support staff and veterinarians on patient cases
• Participate in wildlife rehabilitation for small mammals, reptiles, and marsupials

Required Skills

• Experience in small animal care and preventive care
• Proficiency in digital radiography and dental prophylaxis
• Ability to perform anesthesia, surgery, and emergency care
• Active veterinary license in Missouri (or ability to obtain one quickly)
