Rollin’ Paws Veterinary Clinic in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our General Practice serving small animals, exotics, and small farm animals.

You will provide medical care, perform surgeries, and develop treatment plans while educating clients and ensuring high-quality care. A NM license or eligibility is required, with opportunities for both mobile and hospital-based work in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in NM or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care to small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct examinations, take medical histories, and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide after-care instructions to clients.
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients and their pets, providing educational resources and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine, and participate in continuing education and training.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care and services.

Work Environment

• Work in a mobile veterinary clinic, traveling to client's homes or farms to provide care(optional)

• Work in our hospital to provide quality medical care

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing
