About Pikesville Animal Hospital

For more than 15 years, Pikesville Animal Hospital has been a trusted provider of high-quality veterinary care in the Baltimore area. Located in the heart of Pikesville, MD, our hospital proudly serves a diverse community, welcoming clients from Catonsville, Owings Mills, Towson, Timonium, Lutherville, and beyond. Founded by Dr. Carey Zumpano, a board-certified veterinarian (ABVP) with nearly 30 years of experience, our six-doctor hospital is dedicated to delivering exceptional medical, surgical, diagnostic, and dental care. We are committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine by offering state-of-the-art services, including laparoscopy for all spay procedures, surgical laser technology, dental radiography, endoscopy, and two advanced ultrasound machines. Our integrative approach to care is further enhanced by specialized therapies such as acupuncture, joint injections, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy led by Dr. Covert.
