Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload including wellness, dermatology, nutrition, senior care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and urgent care.
• Provide advanced medical care in cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
• Collaborate with a two-doctor team and dedicated support staff; participate in mentorship and leadership development.
• On-site grooming and bathing services to connect clients with the hospital.
• Maintain high-quality diagnostic workups with available in-house tools and access to specialist consultations.

A trusted small animal hospital in Louisville, KY is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team! Serving pets and families across Louisville for over 30 years, this full-service practice has earned an outstanding reputation in the community, backed by exceptional client reviews. Housed in a gorgeous, stand-alone building, the hospital combines long-standing client relationships with a genuine commitment to high-quality, progressive medicine.

You’ll be joining a collaborative two-doctor team supported by dedicated, experienced technicians and assistants. Mentorship is built into the culture, with structured support and leadership pathways available for those looking to grow their career.

The caseload is diverse and engaging, spanning wellness and preventive care, dermatology, nutrition, senior care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and urgent care, alongside advanced care in cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics. On-site grooming and bathing services also help keep clients closely connected to the practice.

The hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, tonometry, and comprehensive laboratory diagnostics, giving you the tools to work up cases confidently. Specialist consultation support is also available whenever you’d like a second opinion on a complex case.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. The hospital is open weekdays with shorter Saturday hours and is closed on Sundays, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
