Qualifications

Responsibilities

Well Established Privately Owned Practice seeks Associate Veterinarian

We2 re seeking to hire a veterinarian, preferably full time but are willing to discuss a part time schedule. Salary will be commensurate with hours available, experience, and skills.

Our practice is almost seventy years old, is full of passionate staff, and is in a great neighborhood. The practice owner has been here twenty four years and the retiring associate vet has been here since the Reagan administration. The average staff member has been here for more than ten. We have many clients who have been coming here for decades and families where relationships are measured in generations. Everyone is excited for our retiring vet and looking forward to seeing a fresh face and hearing new ideas. This is a place where you can make rewarding relationships with your colleagues and clients.

We put a lot of effort into making this a great place to work. In other words, were not tolerating lousy behavior from each other or from clients. When were at work, we work hard. When were off, then we dont bother each other.

Our practice is located in St. Matthews. Itfs a lovely walkable neighborhood. Several great restaurants and gourmet groceries are nearby.

Clinic Hours

• Monday thru Friday 8:00-6:00
• Saturday 8:00-4:00
• We are closed for New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• We close at noon every year for Thunder Over Louisville, Derby, Christmas Eve, and New Year Eve.
