Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible for a West Virginia veterinary license.
• Has a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Communicates effectively with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Provide preventive and wellness care throughout all stages of a pet's life.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform routine surgical procedures and assist with more complex cases.
• Provide dental examinations, procedures, and treatment recommendations.
• Interpret laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical findings.
• Educate clients regarding preventive care, treatment options, medications, nutrition, and long‑term health.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners.
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and veterinary support staff to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, medical quality, and client service.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
