Job description

We are working on behalf of a long-established, well-respected general practice in Daytona Beach, FL, that is looking to welcome a full-time Veterinarian to its team.

With decades of history in the community, this hospital has built its reputation on thorough, affordable, and genuinely caring medicine, and it still treats every patient like family. You will provide a well-rounded mix of medical, surgical, and dental care, from wellness exams and vaccinations through to advanced dentistry and laser surgery. The practice places real value on client education and responsible pet ownership, so you will have the support to explain your recommendations properly.

The schedule is one of the standout features here. The hospital is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends, no on-call duties, and no holiday shifts, so when you are off, you are off. A generous 2.5:1 support staff to doctor ratio means you have the team and tools to practice good medicine without feeling stretched. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus production, a sign-on bonus, and a benefits package that covers your professional dues, license fees, and AVMA-PLIT. The hospital is part of a partner network that takes care of operations, marketing, and finance, and there may be an opportunity to explore practice ownership down the line for those who are interested.

This is a great fit for a DVM who wants steady weekday hours, a supportive team, and a practice with deep roots in its community.
