Dixie Animal Hospital in Vandalia, OH is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a privately owned, growing small animal practice. The role offers a robust ProSal compensation model, a collaborative team, and a supportive environment focused on quality patient care.

The clinic features an in-house pharmacy, labs, ultrasound, dental radiography, and acupuncture, with a schedule around 32 hours per week and one Saturday streaming per month.

Associate Veterinarian — Warm, Friendly, Small Animal Clinic in Vandalia

Come join a privately owned, thriving hospital in Vandalia. Recently expanded and remodeled in 2021, Dixie Animal Hospital is a true gem in the community. The team doesn't just get along – they love working with each other. It's a place full of great people who love vet med and the important work they do.

The hospital hosts a team of 5 doctors and over 25 staff members. The hospital is led by two owner doctors who treat their staff like family nd do everything they can to support them and build a great environment to work in. Each doctor is paired with an assistant to write their medical notes and assist with client communication. Full time doctors typically work about 32 hours or roughly 3.5-4 days a week. 90 min lunches help break up the day and doctors help to rotate so each doctor is only scheduled one Saturday morning a month.

• Must be willing to pick up some surgery days (or have an internist skillset in lieu of doing some surgery)
• Technology / Facility Includes: Surgical suite, in house pharmacy, in house labs, dental x rays, ultrasound, laser therapy, digital radiography and acupuncture is offered as well.

Compensation and Benefits:

Doctors do quite well here on a ProSal model. In addition, a CE stipend of $2,500 is included as well as uniforms, health insurance plan, a 401K w/ 3% match and 3 weeks of PTO to name a few benefits.
