Compassion Animal Hospital in Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join a collaborative team focused on high-quality care for small animals with some exotics. The role offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment and a work schedule that avoids overnight shifts.

You will engage in diagnosis, treatment planning, and client communication, while benefiting from a well-staffed facility and a culture that values learning and balance.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Experience in small animal practice preferred.
• Exotics experience a plus.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care for small animals.
• Develop and discuss treatment plans with clients.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Mentor junior staff and support growth of the hospital.

Your Schedule

• 3 full days + one half day per week — no overnights or on-call shifts
