Job summary

Qualifications

• High school level educated with relevant technical certifications or degrees.
• Progressive experience in testing or manufacturing environments is required.
• Experience with assembly and use of hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, optical alignment, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of optical systems, circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems because of testing.
• Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
