As our Associate Territory Manager for the Northwest region, you’ll support sales and account management across Northern California, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Alaska. The San Francisco Bay Area is the preferred home base; candidates based in the Sacramento area may also be considered.

You’ll work with major academic institutions and large community oncology, radiation oncology, and neuro-oncology practices across the region. This multispecialty role calls for a resourceful self-starter who is motivated to learn complex clinical information, build customer relationships, and grow the business. You’ll bring initiative, sound judgment, teamwork, and a passion for supporting patients to a dynamic environment with significant autonomy.

This full-time, exempt, field-based position reports to the Regional Business Director. The role requires 20–40% travel on a weekly basis, with occasional travel outside the territory. Candidates must live within the territory, within a reasonable distance of key accounts, with the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred and Sacramento a secondary location.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide field-based promotion and account management to oncology healthcare professionals in academic and community settings, including neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans through a collaborative team approach.
  • Uncover business opportunities through customer relationships and insights into practice and patient care models.
  • Execute corporate and regional strategies to achieve business objectives within the assigned geography.
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts within approved labeling.
  • Provide in-territory customer service support related to reimbursement and billing activities.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, Scientific Liaisons, Regional Marketers, Device Support Specialists, Reimbursement, Sales Operations, and the US Business Team.
  • Comply with all Novocure policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate account and CRM records.
  • Support patient treatment by working with prescribing physicians and clinical staff to identify and manage patients who have received prescriptions but have not started therapy or are on a treatment hold.
  • Conduct case reviews with prescribing physicians and clinical staff to discuss patient progress and support continuity of care.
About You
  • At least three years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization, using good judgment and sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex information.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and customer demand, with the drive to learn across multiple specialties.
  • Residence within the territory, within a reasonable distance of key accounts; San Francisco Bay Area preferred, with Sacramento also considered.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and the ability to lift 15 pounds.

These additional qualifications are preferred:

  • Knowledge of oncology healthcare providers and institutions within the territory.
  • Experience and relationships in neuro-oncology and/or radiation oncology.
  • Expertise in managing an oncology therapeutic business within a territory, including sales, local marketing, reimbursement, and technical support.
