Job summary

BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Technology Product Support in New York to engage with Aladdin users, own complex inquiries, and partner with Engineering, SRE and client teams to ensure smooth operation.

You will analyze trends, drive improvements, and help prepare clients for product changes while building expertise across all workflows. The role combines finance domain knowledge with technical support within a collaborative hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field with 3 years of experience.
• 3+ years using Azure DevOps for front-end debugging and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with securitized asset classes, cashflow and risk modeling for given security types.
• Enhancing and scaling processes to increase operational workflow and efficiency.
• Leveraging data health to perform quality control checks and provide accurate market analytics support.
• Analyzing NAVs and portfolio drill down reports to provide in-depth analysis on portfolio performance.
• Utilizing loan metrics including LTVs, DSCR, and debt yields to evaluate quality of loans.
• Capital stack loan modeling for public and private CRE trusts and loans for structured assets.
• Excel, VBA and SQL for data governance and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to deliver high-impact product projects.
• Analyze client inquiry trends using data and user feedback and implement solutions to improve.
• Identify function gaps and areas of strategic improvement from a product perspective.
• Formulate and implement strategic objectives to improve Aladdin user experience through process and technology enhancements.
• Prepare Client Success Specialists for product changes and releases.
• Develop skills to become technically proficient in all workflows within the product team.
• Mentor and develop internal talent through learning opportunities and 1:1 coaching.
• Partner with Engineering & SRE on Proactive Monitoring & Telemetry as Product SME to avoid incidents.
• Act as Product SMEs and Solution Architects to address complex compliance challenges and gain deeper workflow & product knowledge.

Job Duties

• Engage with Aladdin users on product-specific workflows, product, process and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst or a related role.
• Must have three (3) years of experience with: Experience with Azure DevOps to review source code for front end debugging and business intelligence tools including Power BI and Tableau for reporting, and API based workflows;
• Experience with securitized asset classes (private and public), underlying collateral types, and appropriate cashflow and risk modeling approaches for given security types;
• Enhancing and scaling processes to increase operational workflow and efficiency;
• Leveraging data health to perform quality control checks and provide accurate market analytics support;
• Analyzing NAVs and portfolio drill down reports to provide in-depth analysis on portfolio performance;
• Utilizing loan metrics including LTVs, DSCR, and debt yields to evaluate quality of loans;
• Implementing the capital stack loan modeling of public and private commercial real estate trusts and loans for structured assets;
• and Conducting surveillance and data governance in Excel, VBA and SQL.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$150,550.00 - USD$160,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
