Job summary

QVC Group in Exeter, NH is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to support the product development of private label apparel. You will produce accurate technical drawings and instructions, support measuring samples and construction comments, and collaborate with vendors and factories.

This hybrid role requires 3 years of technical design experience, knowledge of apparel specifications, and web-based PLM systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical design experience in apparel.
• Understanding of product specifications for apparel.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and flat sketching.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate technical drawings and construction instructions.
• Support measuring samples and contribute construction comments.
• Communicate updates with vendors and factories; review photo samples and participate in fit sessions.

Your Opportunity, Your Team

• You will work closely with the Technical Designers in the product development of private label apparel programs. This role reports to our Technical Designer for Apparel.

Where You'll Work

• This role is hybrid and will require you to work in our Exeter office 2-3 days weekly. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
• The opportunity is available for Associate Technical Designers who reside in the following states: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont.

What You'll Do

• Produce accurate technical drawings and instructions
• Support measuring samples and making construction comments
• communicate updates with vendors and factories
• Review all photo samples and participate in fit sessions

What You'll Bring

• 3 Years Technical Design Experience
• Understanding of apparel product specifications
• Web-Based PLM Systems usage needed
• Knowledge of product specifications and flat sketching
