Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher at the Little Apron Academy near Smyrna, GA. This full-time, in-person role offers opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost while you work with children across multiple age groups.

You’ll assist with activities, maintain classroom safety, communicate with families, and help with transitions throughout the day at a Bright Horizons center.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cover infant teacher breaks in the morning, supervise preschoolers at lunchtime, help with laundry and general cleaning to keep day running smoothly.
• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Assist in supporting classrooms during transitions to and from classroom and playground

Education

CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s in Early Education or related field
