Bullis Charter School (BCS) is hiring an Associate Teacher in Los Altos, CA. The role blends instructional support with leadership, under mentorship of lead teachers, to create impact across grade-level teams.

Associate Teachers perform data-driven interventions, co-plan curricula, facilitate assessments, and develop co-curriculars, with eventual progression to a lead teacher role within one to two years. This is a hands-on preparation path towards classroom leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in an education setting is required.
• Ability to lead data-driven small-group interventions.
• Ability to pivot to lead teacher duties during extended leaves and as Temporary Teacher of Record.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven small-group interventions and track student growth.
• Co-plan inclusive curricula with grade-level teams.
• Facilitate formative assessments to drive student growth.
• Design and deliver co-curricular activities.
• During extended leaves, assume Temporary Teacher of Record responsibilities (lesson delivery, grading, parent communication).
• Pave a pathway to a full lead teacher position within 1–2 years.
