Job summary

Wayve, based in Sunnyvale, California, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to support Fleet Operations recruitment across North America and beyond. The role is hybrid, combining in-office days with remote work, and focuses on end-to-end hiring for frontline and manager-level roles.

• Sourcing: build candidate pipelines via direct sourcing and multiple channels for Vehicle Safety Operator and other high-volume roles.
• Stakeholder Partnership: advise hiring managers and Directors on role definition, market conditions, and closing strategies.
• Candidate and Hiring Experience: ensure an inclusive, transparent candidate journey with timely feedback and consistent decisions.
• Data and Market Insights: monitor progress, identify risks, and shape hiring strategies using data.

About the Role

Wayve is pioneering Embodied AI for autonomous driving. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our Sunnyvale team and support the continued growth of our real-world testing and operations.

In this role, you’ll manage hiring across Fleet Operations in North America and beyond, covering high-volume, specialist, and manager-level roles. Partnering closely with hiring managers and senior leaders, you’ll translate business needs into effective recruitment strategies and help build the teams needed to scale Wayve’s global operations safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Hiring Delivery: Independently manage end-to-end recruitment across high-volume frontline, technical, specialist, and manager-level Fleet Operations roles, from intake and market mapping through assessment, offer, and close.
• Sourcing: Build representative candidate pipelines through direct sourcing and a range of attraction channels, developing locally informed and scalable approaches for Vehicle Safety Operator and other high-volume roles.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and Directors, providing consultative guidance on role definition, assessment, market conditions, candidate quality, and closing strategies.
• Candidate and Hiring Experience: Deliver an inclusive, transparent, and well-managed candidate experience while supporting hiring teams with structured interviewing, timely feedback, and consistent decision-making.
• Data and Market Insights: Use recruitment data and market intelligence to monitor progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, improve funnel performance, and shape realistic hiring strategies.
• Collaboration and Improvement: Partner with colleagues across Talent Acquisition, People, Finance, and Fleet Operations on workforce planning, employer branding, and improvements to hiring processes.

About You

To set you up for success as a Talent Acquisition Associate at Wayve, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

Essential

• Demonstrated success independently delivering full-cycle recruitment within a fast-paced or scaling organization.
• Experience recruiting across a broad range of roles, including high-volume, professional, or manager-level positions.
• The confidence and judgment to advise senior stakeholders, constructively challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into effective hiring strategies.
• Strong direct-sourcing skills and experience using multiple attraction channels to build candidate pipelines.
• A hands-on, adaptable, and highly organized approach, with the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Confidence using applicant tracking systems, recruitment data, and market insights to inform decisions and communicate progress effectively.

Desirable

• Experience recruiting within fleet operations, automotive, logistics, manufacturing, field operations, mobility, customer operations, or another high-volume operational environment.
• Experience supporting hiring across multiple locations or working with globally distributed stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system.
• Experience designing or improving volume-hiring campaigns, recruitment events, or structured assessment processes.
• Experience working in a startup environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Sunnyvale, California. At Wayve, we want the best of all worlds, so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines a minimum of two days each week in the office with time spent working from home. Time together in our offices and operational environments helps fuel innovation, culture, relationships, and learning.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This range should be confirmed against current market data before publication.
