Job summary

Tickets.com, a subsidiary of Major League Baseball (MLB), seeks an Associate Systems Integration Analyst to manage access control equipment inventory, patching, and integration tasks across hardware and software environments. You’ll collaborate with development and operations to test compatibility, escalate issues, and support logistics for park technologies.

The role requires knowledge of Linux/Android devices, hardware troubleshooting, and experience with Jira/ASANA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Ability to execute tasks with high accuracy while handling sensitive information.
  • 1+ year in a role exposed to ticketing or product specialist/associate functions.
  • Flexible schedule with weekend and evening support; travel as needed.
  • Familiarity with hardware tracking, mobile device management, and remote support.
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration tools like Jira, Asana, and Slack.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 2 product support and triage bugs and enhancements.
  • Perform basic Operational Readiness Testing for software/hardware.
  • Document and recommend fixes and enhancements for hardware/software.
  • Contribute to plans for new technology investments and cost reductions.
  • Support PoC to production transitions for new products.
  • Create and maintain configuration/instruction documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics for inventory management and deployments.
  • Create and maintain Ubuntu images for mass deployment.
  • Maintain device tracking inventory and perform shipping/receiving tasks.
  • Perform hardware break/fix repairs and routine patches for Linux/Android devices.

Tickets.com is looking for an Associate Systems Integration Analyst to be responsible for access control equipment inventory management including device tracking, shipping, receiving, break/fix repairs, planning and performing routine patches and/or operating system upgrades, future planning, and other integration tasks to ensure high levels of availability and security of hardware deployed throughout the environment. The Associate Systems Integration Analyst will also work with our development and operations teams to perform basic testing of application functionality and compatibility with all equipment models. This position requires working with subject matter experts and operational support teams as the point of escalation for all issues pertaining to access control equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tier 2 product support while triaging (identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and classifying) product deficiencies/enhancement requests and bug fixes
  • Perform basic Operational Readiness Testing for software and hardware products
  • Develop, document, and recommend actionable bug fixes and enhancements to software products through daily interactions with hardware devices
  • Provide input toward developing and communicating plans for investing in new technology solutions, including identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Contribute towards Proof-of-Concept requirements technical evaluation and play a part in program maturity while taking a new product from POC to production
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation related to equipment or application configurations and instructions
  • Coordinate with the logistics team and assist with inventory management for other ballpark technologies
  • Create, update and maintain Ubuntu images for mass deployment
  • Maintain device tracking inventory
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks as necessary
  • Perform hardware break/fix repairs as necessary
  • Plan and perform routine patches for Linux and Android devices
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technology field
  • Ability to execute tasks with high accuracy and thoroughness and maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive information
  • Minimum of 1 year in a role exposed to Ticketing or Product Specialist/Associate equivalent
  • A flexible schedule with the ability to provide weekend and evening support
  • Ability to travel to remote locations as needed
  • Basic knowledge of hardware tracking systems, mobile device management, and remote hardware support with the ability to demonstrate skill in a distributed enterprise environment
  • Understanding of Linux and Android operating systems
  • Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence Integrated Development Environment code editors (IDEs) such as Cursor, Project IDX, JetBrains AI or Qoder
  • Basic understanding of structured prompt-based framework for agentic software development
  • Basic understanding of scripting and declarative languages is a plus (e.g., Bash, GO, Python, HashiCorp Configuration Language HCL)
  • A basic degree of comfort interacting with APIs is a plus (e.g., Postman, Paw, Insomnia, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise support and communications tools and platforms like Jira, Asana, Google Docs, ServiceNow, Slack, Teams, and Zoom
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including topology, IP networking, protocols, components, and principles
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience setting up and troubleshooting IT equipment like printers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and Android OS devices (handhelds & tablets)
  • Basic understanding and working with an EMM solution such as SOTI, VMWare, Samsung Knox, or JAMF
  • Basic understanding and experience working with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Orion, GCP Logs Explorer, Datadog, Logstash, or Nagios
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to audiences at different levels
  • Act with integrity and respect. Adhere to applicable statutes, laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Apply general knowledge of computer processes, technologies, and systems to support project team and customer issues/requests to drive completion of all assignments
  • Act as a contributing team member with ownership over existing and new data communications equipment, including installation, configuration, inventory management, and repairs
  • Accumulate technical knowledge of proprietary software and hardware products and demonstrate a thorough understanding of product features, capabilities, standard error messages, operating systems, and relationships between hardware and software issues
  • Effectively communicate this knowledge to internal and external clients
Salary Range:

$70,000 - $80,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus
